Apart from animals you can find nearly 2,000 species of plants, nearby 200 species, 315 species of butterflies, and other big number of reptiles mammals. You can go  Anamalai Tiger Reserve as you prefer there are three ways as mentioned below:

  • By Air( Coimbatore is nearest airport and 75Km far away from Anamalai Tiger Reserve)
  • By Train ( Pollachi is the nearest railway station and 35Km far away from Anamalai Tiger Reserve)
  • By Road (You can also go by Coimbatore and Pollachi the direct bus is available from this place.)



Best time to visit 

The park stays open complete year and in each season you will find something to get amazed, but the best timing to visit Anamalai Tiger reserve is August to February. As in summer it’s hard to find animals around. This park remains open all the days. During November and December months this place attracts the most people.
