A Bohemian Summer South Farm Wedding

The happiness that I and every one of my friends felt, was delivered to mind the moment I saw the gorgeous photographs of today's wedding.

The absolute joy and love that photographer Claudia Rose Carter has captured are exquisite. On 15 July 2018 café manager Angelique wed Chris, a project manager, in Royston, Cambridgeshire.

The hot summer's day celebration was inspired by a passion for everything boho and ethereal. The couple loved that South Farm, using its exclusive-use barn, would be a self-sufficient venue using its farm and gardens and lots of room for the entire party to unwind and relax to enjoy the glorious weather.

For a relaxed and boho bridal style, Angelique chose an angel-winged, almost medieval, gown by FeelTimes.

"It stood out in the rest! I love sparkles and angel sleeves and also the back detail is simply stunning."

As well to be just a little bit different, this gown looks so easy to wear. The fitted bodice is balanced so perfectly through the flowing sleeves along with a modern touch comes in the dainty straps over the open back.

Chris and Angelique met on vacation in Queenstown, New Zealand in 2007 and Chris proposed on the snowboarding holiday with friends in Courchevel, France in 2016. Click

The beautiful weather resulted in the couple could marry outside underneath the wooden pergola. The ceremony was led by the couple's dear friend who flew all of the way from New Zealand. She waited underneath the pergola with Chris, who had donned an easy and summery suit along with a Paisley tie.

After the ceremony, there is plenty of time for the entire bridal party to unwind and enjoy the gorgeous countryside that surrounds South Farm. The couple had gathered together giant garden games, including giant Jenga and croquet, for everyone to savor in the sunshine.

A nod towards the bride's fascination with autumn style came with the vibrant burgundy maid of honor dresses. I love these midi-style gowns that also look light and fun to put on.

I sense that has captured the ethereal feel so wonderfully during these fine art photographs. Claudia is this type of pro at using sunlight at precisely the right time (those sunlit photographs of Angelique and Chris…).

"From the get-go, Claudia felt like an old friend. She has a chance to make you feel relaxed and yourself all the time. She also has a chance to hold a drink and take probably the most incredible pictures simultaneously – talent immediately! We are generally naturally quite hospitable people also it was extremely important to us that Claudia felt like she was a part of our day."

"She has captured the real essence in our day so perfectly that I relive it each time I take a look at them. When much of your family survives the other side of the world, it's this type of special feeling to possess all your family members in one space celebrating love and embracing all of the feels."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Take your time and effort – appreciate it and make sure you have several moments to yourselves throughout your day to take everything in."
