Anyhow, your whole argument is based on ones and assumption according to which Kieren has stated. You have to play the league to earn the rewards we know. However, there is nothing to say that it will not be possible for Ironmen to make RuneScape gold points to purchase the rewards. There's nothing to say that the benefits are"one-time uniques" either; in fact, I doubt they would be since that would be introducing"rares" back into OSRS, that has previously been taken down. And once we get the entire blog with the rewards and reward system clarified, if you don't like it, then you could always vote no. But arguing on the assumption you think you may not be able to receive them is silly.

OK I'm willing to punt this debate until we see the way the rewards shop is organised. Clues vs tournament, the ideology is while the other exists at a specific point, that one is freely available to perform at any moment. They'd be unobtainable for a few players, if wages were one-off. If I am busy month when the tournament is, and that's I wouldn't be able to ever get the one-off special. I would still be in a position to perform clue scrolls however. Leagues sound cool for me. Cosmetic uniques also sound cool to me. Rewards which are unobtainable after the truth are not cool to me however. Just like you mentioned we don't understand how the rewards shop will look. Then I'm OK with this if it turns out rewards can be gotten over time and that it's fine. Let's wait till we understand to comment further.

They don't. The point is not, your ability whether or not it will be done. Currently every single item in OSRS is available with luck/time even when you made a IM. We voted old school rs gold against rares in 2013 and 2018 because we as a community do not like the aspect of missing out because we're busy. I'm seeking to make sure that the same is true here -- some rewards might just be accessible for the top X winners but there'll be none which aren't available in a subsequent league, otherwise just X such items will ever exist in RuneScape on the GE, that is not something that we (historically) have desired. If that's the case I do not care how hard it's to win those leagues. This is about balance of the economy.
