A water charity is hoping to raise awareness of the life-changing benefits a clean, safe water supply can provide.

Clean Water Charity is an Australian organization dedicated to bringing clean and safe water supplies to people in need throughout the world including those who are struggling to survive without it.

It works with communities and local agencies on projects that will benefit these groups by helping them have access to clean and safe drinking water.  This includes drilling deep wells for clean water which helps stop diseases such as cholera, typhoid, and polio amongst others that kill thousands of children every year.

A clean water charity spokesperson said: "We all expect clean, safe drinking water to be available at our fingertips whenever we turn on the tap but many thousands of people in the world don't have clean water to drink.  This is why clean water charity has been created, and it needs support from people like you to be a successful clean water donation."

The clean water charity has been helping communities in Africa, Asia, and South America.

"There are so many good clean water charities out there but we think we can make a big difference by targeting different areas where clean water is needed," the clean water charity spokesperson said.  For example, the clean water charity has just finished a project in Kenya and is now looking towards India for its next clean water project.

Clean Water Charity has just finished one clean water project in Kenya and is now looking towards India for its next clean water project.

It also has clean water projects in Thailand, Vietnam, and Papua New Guinea.  All clean water charity's clean water projects are overseen by the clean water charity's team including clean drinking water engineers to help ensure each clean water project is completed successfully for those who need it most.  It also follows up with these communities to help improve existing clean drinking systems after they have been installed.

Clean Water Charity asks that you give generously to such a worthy cause and help bring clean drinking water supplies to people who desperately need it around the world.

Clean Water Charity started in 2003 and since then has helped communities all over the world who are struggling to survive without clean water.  They have so far drilled about 450 clean water wells, none of which cost more than $15,000 each.

The clean water charity spokesperson added: "We want to spread awareness of clean water charity and encourage people everywhere to come together and raise money with us so we can help more people."

The clean water charity was founded by an Australian man living in Thailand who witnessed the terrible struggle for clean drinking water in one of the nation's poorest provinces. He decided to set up a clean water charity as a way for people all over the world to make a difference by helping those who need it most.

He commented: "I helped clean water charity launch its clean water wells program in 2004 and it was an incredible experience.  We have to encourage clean water charity so more people can help the clean water well projects."

Clean Water Charity has a number of different fundraising events every year, including clean water trivia nights, clean water cake sales, clean water barbecues, and clean drinking fun runs.  There are also clean water merchandise items available for purchase so people can show their support for a clean water charity.

The clean water charity spokesperson added: "A lot of our supporters are mothers who fundraise with us during Mother's Day or Father's Day so they can give something to international communities that also need clean water."

Clean Water Charity works as part of a community initiative and helps those who are less fortunate than themselves by drilling clean drinking wells for them.  The clean water charity spokesperson said: "Not only will clean drinking water help stop diseases that kill thousands of children every year but it will also improve living standards significantly for local communities."

She added: "If everyone contributed something to help make clean water available then we can bring some really well into this world.  We need your support, either by donating money or other resources, to make clean water charity work."
