Myths about running.

Today let's talk about myths in running.

MYTH 1: YOU HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR SHOES EVERY 1000 KM.

Running shoe manufacturers recommend changing running shoes every 500 to 1,000 km (for the average amateur, that's every 3 months).

Excess cushioning can even be harmful. Another American study shows that runners wearing padded sneakers quickly and imperceptibly increase their running shock load-they simply don't feel it because of the cushioning. Losing feedback and counting on constant cushioning is what can lead to injury.

Find comfortable shoes and run in them as long as they're comfortable. Also - do OHP, running exercises for your joints and feet, and see a surgeon with an orthopedist. You need feedback.

Myth 2 - THERE IS AN IDEAL MODEL OF Sneakers.

Even an amateur runner knows that:

you have to run 3-4 different types of workouts (long runs, interval runs, sprints, etc.),

you have to run on highways and dirt, and in different weather,

It is desirable not only to run, but also to visit the gym, to squat and stretch.

Already this tells us that we need:

Lightweight sneakers for trail training,

trail shoes for cross-country and weather,

maybe a winter version of the previous models,

probably fitness sneakers for going to the gym,

It makes sense to keep a fleet of 3-4 different running models. Different brands, if you like that. Or one brand if you are a one-lover. Preferably heavier and lighter, for highway or dirt, winter and summer. Functionality is important, and the fact that your feet work differently in these shoes.

MYTH 3: GOOD TRAINERS = GOOD SPEED.

Unless you're an elite runner who fights for fractions of seconds and millimeters, the best shoe for you is just a comfortable shoe. But they won't run in your place either.

We've busted the myths with you and now we can safely run in any shoe and in any weather. The main thing that should always be with the runner is a good mood, and you can get it with music and OVER-EAR HEADPHONES FOR WORKING OUT https://treblab.com/blogs/news/over-ear-headphones-for-working-out.
