South Ural State Medical University was founded in 1930. Today it is a major science and education center with over 6000 students, both Russian and international.

Our students and researchers can choose from undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate and residency courses in general medicine, preventive medicine, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, social work and clinical psychology.

South Ural State University is an accredited center of medical science. Its advances and achievements influence regional innovation growth. Researchers from the Ural State Medical University are collaborating with the Russian Academy of Sciences in the Ural region, the Central Scientific Institutes of the Ministry of Public Health of the Russian Federation, foreign institutions and organizations in China, Denmark, Hungary and other countries.
