Everyone always complains about this but I do not think anybody realizes this is not a bot matter, but it's literally part of the OSRS gold match. Right click your public chat tab for the choices, the bottom one is "Set up your Autochat" You only find other players' Autochat messages if your chat is also put to Autochat. It is only really used at the Duel Arena since you essentially have to opt-in to see it.

Spam bots do not use that, they utilize topical autotyping apps so they can decide on a script of multiple messages, and thus everyone else could actually see what they're saying.

I am optimistic but not holding my breath, even if Jagex had any interest in improving this game they would've spent in it quite a while ago. The OSRS mod group is so small in comparison to RS2 period to be in a position to perform these things efficiently so I don't actually blame them.

You'd me with this suggestion until you began with the xenophobic remarks against third world countries. I think that it's somewhat ridiculous how you are prioritizing your own gameplay over other people's lives.

Jagex could just hire them rather to do some basic bot detection labor for under minimum wage plus it would be a major update from what they make gold farming on Cheap Runescape gold. It'd help them out food on the table and likely be more economical for them as a company to upkeep and maintain.
