Zishta is Excited to introduce Copper kadai, handcrafted by Thatheras from Jandiala Guru, Punjab. Copper is said to kill harmful germs enhance taste of food. 


What can be cooked in Copper Kadai?
It is meant for daily cooking. Any kind of food, including citric (like food based of tamarind, curd, lemon, tomatoes etc), can be cooked in Tin coated Copper kadai. It also works best for deep fry. Transfer food to another vessel within 1-2 hours of cooking. 

How to maintain it?
Wash it normally like every other vessel using regular scrubber washing soap or liquid. Wipe it dry to avoid stains. Avoid dishwasher. 

Copper oxidises to bring shine back wash with tamarind or lemon or vinegar once in a while. 

How about kalai?
It would last for around 2-3 years depending on usage. We support in doing re-tinning if needed.
