Steps to use Portable hand sprayer:

　　1. Read the label to determine whether the product you want to use is suitable for application via a Portable hand sprayer. Make sure to follow all label instructions to use the product. Unless there is a prohibition on the label, the sprayer is acceptable.

　　2. Fill the sprayer with one-third to half of the water.

　　3. Tighten the cap and use the hand pump to pressurize the sprayer. Most compression sprayers do not have a pressure gauge, but you can feel the tension on the plunger to ensure that the pressure remains fairly constant.

　　4. On a hard, dry, flat surface (such as a driveway), check the output strip of the sprayer. If you want to apply the product at the specified label rate per unit area, practice in the lane at the same walking speed as when applying pesticides. Check the uniformity of the transmission, no gaps, and a small amount of overlap. Practice setting the speed to ensure that you can use the product evenly and consistently.

　　If applied at the specified label dilution concentration, speed is not a factor. Products with a dilution indicator type will have the following statement:

　　"The leaves must be covered thoroughly and evenly."

　　"Spray thoroughly to cover both sides of leaves, stems, and branches."

　　"Spray 2 teaspoons of product solution in 2 gallons of water."

　　5. If the output results in the test are satisfactory, please depressurize the sprayer, remove the cover, add the specified amount of product to the sprayer (Figure 8), and fill up the capacity. Repeat step 3, and the sprayer will be ready.

　　6. If there is a remaining spray mixture in the Portable hand sprayer, apply it to the place or factory that approved the product (check the label).
