RS3 and EOC isnt as bad and OSRS gold would have you think, you just need to jump through RS3's incredibly jumbled beginning and you'll be set. "too interesting", a lot of the things polled and suggested are only electricity - or xpcreep that isn't qualitatively more interesting to play with than the existing things we have (sometimes worse), often just contributing to imbalance or even making matters easier to appease the people that dislike the content instead of those that like it.I don't think even the people who are nostalgic about 2007 are inclined to oppose content that actually enhances gameplay. I believe most players agree that the PvM is a huge update concerning quality of gameplay.

I also believe EOC was not clearly"the issue", since it arguably was very good in the end (it only took a while ). The combat system and PvM on RS3 is very alive and looks as far as I can know to be nuanced and"enjoyable" compared to OSRS. It was a success, I believe RS3 could have been in a worse condition without EoC. As I recall it eoC was like the final straw for many. The people I played with and myself had sort of lost faith and did not see a future for RuneScape, when EoC didn't seem great at once there was little motivation to basically find out a brand new game with the same devs and a game that brought on several of the same issues and frustrations.

Some might disagree because playing osrs effectively isn't a similar sort of experience to the exact same kind of fun we had growing up, but I don't think that's a truly fair point, that is just a fact of us growing up and learning how to seek out guides and find out things fast, and isn't a mistake of RuneScape. When the younger versions of ourselves got to observe some of the cool things we have in OSRS we would have been hyped.Man I miss dungeoneering. 5 ppl moving in with nothing and appreciating those dungeon floor. U didnt even require ppl u knew, these 2-3 specific dung words were mostly crowded, maybe not ppl would help out all this efficiency and becoming confused with ur kc crap we have now. Got about lvl 103 b4 EOC happened.

It's pointless to compare the two. Buy rs 3 gold is it's own game now and has diverged, you don't have to compare it. Pre-EOC had a few of the greatest content of all time in my opinion with Dungeoneering and Nex. I believe that they're both great, pre-eoc as it was and present OSRS. I like them both. The purpose was to return a right was made by rs3 and make a left. After free commerce eliminated it was mainly downhill. We must select and gone a completly different route and RuneScape is larger than ever. RuneScape was better than pre eoc just a couple years after launch. Some may disagree and say it was better from the beginning but there was a clear lack of material, and you can play for tens of thousands of hours and still have plenty to do wether you merely like pvm or skilling, though skilling is fairly much the exact same but faster.
