Is your lounge so messy or cluttered that you don't even want to live there? If you follow these tips, your home will be as clean as your favorite show - and you can do it while you clean!

1. cleaning mini blinds.

Blinds have replaced curtains in many homes. Blinds are durable and less prone to staining, and they make curtains look like old-fashioned mackintoshes. However, blinds quickly accumulate dust and dirt if not maintained. Remove blinds from the wall and take them out of the house so they can be stored.

Hang dirty blinds on the wall, preferably at the back of the house. Turn the slats over and spray them with a soap and water mixture. Leave it on for a while, then wipe it off with a dry sponge. Turn the slats over and repeat the process.

2. Another one has bitten the dust.

Dust is mostly dried skin flakes from human skin and there is no way to get rid of it permanently or prevent it from accumulating on surfaces and in crevices. It is best to deep clean your home every three months or so to prevent dust mites and other tiny organisms from being attracted to your home.

Sweep or vacuum your lounge. Pinch your nose and, if possible, try covering furniture - sofa, armchair, chairs - with a sheet to keep dust out. This is a sure way to rid the lounge of dust.

3: Clean your glass worktops.

Glass worktops have become commonplace in almost every room in the average home. You'll find glass worktops on dining tables, nightstands, porch tables, or coffee tables. Today, they are very fashionable. Many interior designers want to include tables with glass worktops in their projects.

Cleaning glass worktops is easy: wipe them down with a lint-free towel and Windex or other glass cleaners. Remember, never spray the cleaner directly on the surface of the glass. Spray a small amount of cleaner on a towel and wipe the surface with it to avoid scratching.

4. Removing pet hair.

Pet hair, such as cat and dog hair, can easily become embedded in the upholstery of sofas and carpets. It can take a while to get rid of it all, especially if you have pets all the time.

Take the vacuum cleaner out of the closet. Insert the nozzle and use it to remove pet hair from the carpet and hard-to-reach areas.

5. Clean TV and computer screens.

Television has changed the way we live and the way we clean our homes. As a computer monitor, the television screen is a delicate and touch-sensitive piece of equipment. Fortunately, the cleaning process is not that complicated.

Soak a piece of flannel wool cloth in a 50/50 mixture of water and isopropyl alcohol and wipe the dirty TV or computer screen with it. It's not a fabulous task, but it's doable (unless you're looking for an excuse to buy a new TV). Follow these tips and your lounge will be as clean as when you moved in!
