Research Studies on Homelessness | Atheists Helping the Homeless, DC

The homeless problem is a large one in the United States. Our goal is to provide resources to help and support homeless people.

Research studies on homelessness show that in the United States in January 2018, 552,830 people faced homelessness on one night; between2.5 and 3.5 million people become homeless over any given year. Housing is an imperative determinant of health, and those who experience homelessness have a huge risk for health challenges. People with disabilities are unreasonably likely to experience homelessness.
