All those developers are much poorer than those AAA scumbag publishers may ever be, and yet they are not satisfying their games for this shit. It has got nothing to do with needing more development money or providing you complimentary DLC.

Do not buy this crap, please. Find some indie basketball game. It's true that you won't receive the official logos or the official team names and other shit like that, but at least you will not be actively milked by some asshole who desires his 26th Lamborghini.

VPeople who purchase and play 2K don't care about an unskippable loading screen ad. They care about gameplay and whether the game is any less popular this season than a year ago, it's more because the game play and popular builds in multiplayer.

Regular folks do not care about ads as much as complaining people online do. Regular people still watch cable TV, listen to the radio and also therefore are used to advertisements bombarding them.
